and its beautiful surroundings offer a wide range of exciting outdoor activities.

 
 

  There are a number of Icelandic ponies at the station, just waiting to be taken out
for a ride through the backcountry.

  Isortoq is an outstanding location for
hunting and fishing.

What could be more rewarding after a long day outdoors than a delicious meal of reindeer meat or freshly caught arctic char cooked on an open fire?

 
  Isortoq is only a one-hour hike from the ice cap. We offer guided trekking tours to the ice cap in the summertime, and in the wintertime we can take you there on a snowmobile. Isortoq is also a great place for all kinds of fun activities in the snow.
